>45 Super Cartridge?
I have been reading some references to this cartridge, but no hard data,
What cartridge case is used? What performance is achieved? Are modifications to the weapon required to use it>

Just thought of something else. I think that Corbon was producing .45 Super ammo, but then Ace copywrited the name and wanted Corbon to pay a royalty so Corbon said forget it, and developed their own cartridge. I am not sure if that was the 400 Corbon or something else.
Someone jump in and correct me if I am wrong. |

CORBON AND THE 45 SUPER
CORBON has never loaded the 45SUPER, nor do we have any plans to do so.
TRITON did load the 45SUPER but has dropped it from what I have been told. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong on this. TEXAS AMMUNITION does load the 45SUPER and from what I'm hearing has done a crackerjack good job of it. |

Triton doesn't make .45 Super anymore, they got crossways with Ace Custom. They now make IMO a better round called the 450 SMC, which is basically the reinforced case of the .45 Super but with a smaller primer pocket that uses small rifle primers. The original design cut a 451 Detonics case to .45 ACP OAL.
