I would liken the recoil of a Thompson to a continuous, firm, but gentle shove.

Absolutely one of the funnest guns I ever shot. Wish I could afford one

A good friend of mine had two for a long time, till the bottle made him sell them off. Remember in the Gangster movies when the guy would hang off the car and shoot with one hand. easy with a Thompson. hook that butt plate up under your arm and just squeeze the trigger. Ohhh how manly that is.....

With his M1, it was very easy to aim and hit pop cans with two or three shots. He was much better shot than I was and on popper plates he was amazing.


The MP5's are more like a small rifle like the Thompson, the mini Uzi with a can is more like a pistol with a forward hand grip. the Uzi was very easy to put rounds on target too.
