.308 LC Match or LC LR if had a choice

If i could choose between the two, which is the most prefered? Or are they about the same??

They're basically the same. Go with which one is cheaper.

LC 308 Match is M852, loaded with 168 SMKs. They dont work at 1000 yards.

M118LR is about the same thing loaded with 175 SMKs, they do work at 1000 yards.

If given the choice, (which I had when I shot for the Guard), I used M852 at 200 & 300 yards. For 600, depending on the wind, I used either 168s or the 175s. For 1000 yards I use 175s.

I think that 800 is the max for 168s but dont quote me on that, I never shot 800 yards with a service rifle. I have tried 168s at 1000, and they suck.

Before anyone starts telling me about 155s, remember, I shot Service Rifle, not Pulma.
