Rem 1100 action bar

Mine is damaged. How do I remove the action bar assembly from the action bar sleeve?

How do I attach a new action bar assembly to the action bar sleeve?

Thought I'd share my experience. After some reassurance from Virginian, I pried off the action bar assembly by holding the action bar sleeve in a vise and prying between the two components. Not too bad. Having done that, I knew that I only needed the action bar assembly, so I've ordered one.

Waiting for the new part has given me some time, and with the gun taken apart, some opportunity to both clean and oil the stock. I'm liking Tru Oil, in multiple thin coats.

I have high hopes for this little 28 ga. Can't wait to see how it does on clays.
