I'd like to find a reliable bench rest for general handgun shooting. Any recommendations? I've seen the block-like rest, but I'd like to have the "rest" do most (if not all) of the holding. I have a feeling the ones that I see in the gun mags, are very expensive. I'd like stay under $100 if possible. Thanks -Nick |

The best value you will find is MidwayUSA's Pistolero pistol rest. Not the best built, but it's cheap and it does the job.

Outer's pistol perch offers a steady hold and fine adjustment.I bought mine from Midway, but also use lead shot bags filled with sand as a rest and find the recoil more tolerable.
