How could you not buy it at that price?? You would be sick if you passed it up.

I used to find deals like that, but now I feel like I need to file a police report for assault after I leave a shop around here anymore.

Thanks a lot! Now I feel like I have to spend my Saturday going to pawn shops looking for bargains. I doubt I will be as lucky as you though. I suspect the poor sap that sold it to the pawn shop probably let it go for a pittance.

Wish I could find an uniformed pawnbroker like that. With the advent of the internet and the availability of Gunbroker and other online firearm pricing information, virtually all pawnshops and gun stores know exactly how much a particular gun is going for on the market, and they price them accordingly. I haven't run across a deal at a pawnshop, gun store or gunshow (other than a private sale) in many years...

Some pawn shops get things at ridiculous prices and price accordingly. I bought an unfired Henry GB in 22WMR for $200 at a pawn shop. Best deal I ever found.

NICE! I just bought one and love it... I didn't get it for $500 unfortunately though.

I don't believe that you can sell used wives on the Internet, but it's a lovely thought.

The only real deal I've found at the local pawn shop was a Russian SKS in prefect condition. It didn't have the matching mag so the dealer had put another one in it. $175 bucks.

Good find on yours. Congrats.

Sounds great and a real pleasure to find a good deal at a pawn shop.

Wish ours had guns in my immediate area. Have to go out to the burbs, so you are lucky you can prod around looking for deals on guns and not just tools and stereos.

And if the wives understood, there would be a lot less people on these boards! Mine won't talk for 2 seconds about any of this.

I've also seen it go the other way as well. Saw a FEG pa63 going for $325 with one magazine! I told them they need to research that price as it was way too high. He seemed insulted for some reason!
