Question about magpul mbus sight?

has anyone applied a magpul front b.u.s. sight to a 1913 rail gas block and or a quad rail gas block wondering if there is a better fit between the two.

Aren't those the ones that MagPul says specifically not to attach to the gas block because the temps get too high there? If so, that might explain the lack of replies here ... just a thought.

Interesting ... As I understand them, the front and back sights both need to be mounted on the same plane ... so as long as the rail on your gas block is at the same height as the rail on your lower, you should have the same fit with either the single or quad gas block ...

Building a upper, not for competition! Was wanting a gas block with the flip up sight incorporated. For simplicity, but noone makes one for a bull barrel. Everyone I have talked to uses the magpul (don't know if theyve had to replace them). They have had problems with the troy and yankee hill moving even after a little lock tight, the versions that attach the gas block. One guy uses a one peice yankee hill that is the sight and gas block incorporated together. Does anyone know anyone who makes one in bull configuration?

found a setup I like actually got to hold a ar with a yankee hill rifle lenth free float tube, provided a great platform for optics and sights at more than reasonable price.
