Lee Classic Turret Press
I have used this Lee product for several years now, bought the "Kit" from
Kempf's Gun Shop. I run in batches, as I did not like the "Index" system. A friend now wants the same setup to get started, any suggestions as to best Vendor/Prices from those recently buying this product? I just started looking around for him, he needs the help. best regards, SN |

Bought my Cast Classic setup used. I like it a lot! I think it originally came from Midway Supply judging from the boxes that came with it.
I did buy an extra turret and a few die sets from the Lee factory outlet in Hartford for a good price. |

Natchez is a good place to shop online and they have good prices.

When I bought mine, Factory Sales was the cheapest place. They service was excellent too.
Many people also like Graf & Sons. The kit does not contain the "Classic" press though, at least no kit that I've ever seen. The kits are all the "deluxe" turret, which is similar but not quite as good.

When I bought mine a few years ago, Kempf was the best price I could find. I think Cabela's is running a good deal on them though...

I bought mine as a kit from Cabelas. Best price I had seen at the time.

Last year when I got mine, I also got the kit from Cabela's. The price seemed very competitive at the time.

A minute ago I looked at Lee's official website--if you go there click on "closeouts" and you will see some great prices on reconditioned items, scratch and dent items and etc.... There were something like 14 Classic Turret presses available..........

Kempf or Factory Sales
This Summer I was shopping for a turret press and researched several retailers.
Sue Kempf was GREAT to me. She shared with me that she had recently moved to the Lee Classic Turret from the Pro-1000 presses for the same reasons I was making the same change. I wound up not buying from Grafs for two reasons. One of the Graf salespersons was rude to me and so I checked again with Factory Sales and found that they had dropped their prices. Kempf could not match factorysales.com, so I went with them. But I still have warm feelings toward Kemp's, and Sue Kempf particularly. I believe that Kempf's is the only retailer that sells the Classic Turret in a kit; and a very good kit it is, too. Includes the Deluxe Die set. Thanks for reading. Lost Sheep |

I would go with Kempfs or Cabelas. I use mine in "single stage mode as well" Very happy with it.

There are a bunch of threads around here detailing all the options of buying the Classic Turret as well as recommended accessories. I bought mine from Lee Factory Sales also. They were really good about shipping time and prices. I got the Auto Pro Disk with double disk kit and the riser. I also got the Safety Prime feeder. Both work very well. I also got three extra turrets. Total price was around $180. I am totally satisfied with the press.

I like the Kempf kit better because it comes with one set of dies and no scale. I didn't like the Lee scale so that kit lets you buy a better scale without having to buy the Lee scale also.
