I have not figured out how to quote a post from another member on this forum, how is it done?

It's not hard to do - see that paper/quill icon on the lower right of any post? Click on that, and then check off the option "Quote message in reply?" and enter your own text in the quick reply window. Don't worry about the post quote not showing up in the window, it will be there when you submit your post.

Those are also easy, but you have to press the "Go Advanced" button in the Quick Reply window to get to them if you want more than the basic ones. The emoticons are then available using the smiley face menu item at the top of the Message window or the group of them off to the right.
