Shooting with him certainly would be an experience. When you actually read his articles that go beyond one fragment I don’t think most would say they mean night sights are forbidden, that was my point. It’s more nuanced than that. For instance, at the end of this article he discusses using a Glock in which he has modified the trigger. His modifications actually resulted in a heavier trigger weight, but he still modified the trigger https://www.personaldefenseworld.com...-hair-trigger/.

Funny I was just looking at some old magazines, "The Complete Book of Handguns" from 1993 and 2002 both by M. Ayoob in which he speaks of modifications for defensive handguns and shows us a number of those. He has done so in other publications as well. So if he did say "No modifications" it was likely in a very particular situation speaking in a limited sense.
