Good tactics

https://www.newser.com/story/287164/...aign=rss_crime

Dude had the unfortunate luck of sticking up a fast food joint where two off-duty police officers happened to be having a date night out. They successfully intervened. First thing I noticed was that they split up and approach the perp from two different directions, so neither was in the other's line of fire.

Oh man, what a dummy! Who robs a fast food restaurant in the 21 century no cash world that we live. Glad it worked out for the good guys.

I still remember hearing the story about when a moron tried robbing a gas station frequented by the local police as a break-area (they parked their cruisers behind the building). When he stuck his gun in the attendant's face and demanded money, the attendant motioned towards the side room and told him to talk to "them" (e.g. two Sheriff's Deputies and one CHP) who were sitting there smiling at him w/ their guns drawn. Whoops.

Stupid dies early, which is as it should be.
