The question is too broad because it asks for a favorite and I reply, "For What?" So, I'll answer what combo is my 'favorite' for the situation.
  • My favorite levergun / pistol combo for woods carry and general plinking is my Rossi 357mag 20" carbine and Uberti SA Cav pistol also in 357mag.
  • My favorite large animal hunting combo is my Winchester 88 in .308 and Glock G20L.
  • My favorite for 400yd apple shooting is my scoped RRA A4 and my 45acp Springfield Range Officer 1911.
  • My favorite 200yd, iron sighted bowling pin shooter is my Mini-14 or my M1A along with my 45acp Springfield Range Officer 1911.
  • My favorite HD combo is my M1 Carbine for the wife and for me, my Glock G21L to get to my Mini-14.
I have others but those are my favorites for the activities stated.

Your favorite pistol and rifle you own?

The favourite pistol that I own is a SIG P210-6, the favourite rifle an Anschutz 1423. I love shooting them but carry Glocks and have an AR or Remington 870 around the house.

This week my favorites are,,,

My favorite handgun has always been my S&W Model 15,,,
Although I burn more ammo through her kid sister Model 18.

My favorite rifle varies a bit from time to time,,,
But the one I keep coming back to is a Henry Acu-Bolt single-shot .22.

There's just something about the simplicity of the rifle that appeals to me.
