I don't have an old catalog ....but I think the drop at the comb and the heel on the 525 and 425 were different / and they felt significantly different.

I seem to recall the forends were different too ...

and I don't recall the 425 having the palm swell either...

and I think the angle the butt pad was cut on the 525 was different from the 425....

( while I realize these are small things - they were big issues for me / why I ultimately sold my 525 series).

...but maybe not....lord knows I don't remember what I had for breakfast either...

You're correct on the palm swell, but everything else was the same.,.
