Operation of Lee Safety Prime Video
Operation of Lee Safety Prime Video
There have been quite a few questions recently on the smooth operation of the Lee Safety Prime system. This video was made to demonstrate it's proper operation. Quality is not great since I used a digital still camera, not a camcorder, but the principles are clearly to be seen. I am using a Lee Classic Turret Press in the demo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SufHZhIs-mc I hope this helps new users and others who have been learning to use this important new priming system. |

Thanks for the video!
Your Safety Prime seem less "wobbly" than mine...I'll have to check to see if I have it set up wrong. -- John D. |

Yeah, mine seems to be quite wobbly as well. I'm going to head down to the basement later this morning and try loading some.

Just an update...
I filled the primer tray with 50 primers (I think it was 50) and gave it a try. MUCH better operation. I also found that operation was MUCH better when I used my thumb on the trigger instead of my index finger as I had been doing.
