Shooter Solutions - Gun Bluing Solution
Has anyone used this product? Does it work? I have an old Ranger(Marlin) 22 rifle that I was going to refinish for a fun project and was wondering about this stuff. I saw a video on YouTube about it and if it actually works,I was willing to try it. I know the final results will not be as good as hot bluing, but I don't want to have much invested in this little project.

Never used it but it's hard to get an even finish with cold blue. It's best used for touching up small areas.

or
Discuss your project with the fine folks at Brownells (you'll need a telephone).
They offer some cold-blues that I've had decent results with (tip: stainless steel wool).....
