The file named "wally.jpg" is a P-5, the second file is a P-38 (despite
what the caption says).

I've noticed a sharp jump in P-5 prices in the last year or so, and a
slide in P-38 prices as surplus German police pistols come on the
market.

The P5 does not externally look like the P.38/P1 but the internal mechanism is very close and it could be described as "similar" in that respect. The second picture is a post-war gun, either a P.38 or a P1.
