Laser sights allowed in IDPA events?

Are laser sights allowed in IDPA matches?

I would think they would be allowed since
they are becoming a practical device on CCW pistols.

I don't think they are, but at a club level I don't see why you couldn't shoot a few matches with them without score.

That's true. I wouldn 't be doing it for anything official. I've just shot one match so far and enjoyed it and was thinking of getting laser sights and wanted to get as much practice with it as I could

We've allowed them in matches, no score, in the past. Some day, there may be an "optics" division in IDPA, but don't hold your breath.
