Here's a little gun that just arrived today, and I thought I'd share it with you folks. These are actually pretty neat little guns, more impressive than I would guess without seeing and handling them. It's a DAO tip-up barrel pistol, perfect for pocket or purse.

Have you checked out the recoil spring mechanism? Definitely the ancestor of the Beretta tip ups.

Yep, I think the Italians had one of these to look at when they were doing their first model! The only problem I see with this gun is the slide tends to jump off the little "nubs" on the lever for the recoil spring when you pop the barrel up. I don't see anything to prevent them from doing so, looks like a design defect there.
