Did you vote for Biden thinking he was only going after those evil assault rifles and magazines over 10 rounds?

How would you feel if we got a new 30% tax on guns and a 50% excise tax on ammo?

Sound insane?

Similiar bills have been introduced before, didn't go anywhere then either.

But now the old trash bills can be recycled and given a fresh coat of paint with democrats in charge of 3 branches of government.

Unless I am remembering my US govt classes wrong, the house and the senate constitute the single legislative branch. The Pres is the executive branch and the Supreme court is the judicial branch. Three branches total, and Supreme court is still heavy with conservatives.

Yes, they can. And maybe they will.

But they haven't been recycled as yet, so why post an alarming thread about something that DIDN'T happen six months ago?

If and when new laws affecting firearms or civil rights are proposed, we can discuss them at that time. Until there is a bill before the legislature, it's all idel speculation ... and a waste of time.
