How do you put photos in your posts?

How do you insert a photo in your posts? I have a digital camera photo file but I don't know how you get it from Microsoft photo editor into a post. Please help.

First it needs to be stored on a computer that is accessible from the Internet at all times. Try http://www.photopoint.com for photo hosting.
