Best Suppressor for 10.5" LMT 5.56?
Best Suppressor for 10.5" LMT 5.56?
What suppressor would you recommend for my LMT 10.5" MRP CQB 5.56? A local class III dealer seems to think that I need a longer barrel as that a 10.5" barrel will void the warranty of most suppressors. He says the bullet out of a 10.5" barrel is too unstable and may take out one of the baffles. He suggested a .30 cal suppressor. How would a .30 cal suppressor even attach to a 5.56? Also, I would assume it would be much less effective at noise reduction. Your thoughts? |

I have an Ops Inc 16th model that I run off of my 10.5" barrel. Runs nice and quiet. That being said, I would opt for an 11.25" barrel if I had it to do over again. We had to rig the collar to work with the shorter 10.5" barrel.
