Well, again thanks to most of you who helped me find some direction with your constructive feedback. It's appreciated. I'm not looking to retire off this idea, just toying with an idea to show 2A support with a somewhat abstract idea. Might have to go back to the drawing board and refine it a bit....I agree it is kind of "sporty" which is far from the message...which is to show support in protecting our constitution.

Thanks all....again what better way to test an image. Lotta straight shooters on here!

I don't get the message. It's disguised to not be obvious, but recognizable to those in the know. Sort of like preaching to the choir to me. Too abstract for this old guy.

But I am not into art. Just one old guy's take.

The message is simple, 2A support to protect the constitution. Boils down to whether or not you like the graphic and see the hidden characters.

I couldn't tell what it was.

I'd like something instantly recognizable by us, but non recognizable by antigun types. One of the reasons I like the phrase "molon labe"- sends out a strong message to people who believe in firearms rights, or people with the historical knowledge to understand it. But to people outside that circle, it's meaningless.

On a side note I'm amazed how badly my phone's spellcheck mangled "molon labe".

I wanted something that would identify me as a competition shooter, without a sticker from any organization (NRA, USPSA, etc.). I got a custom license frame that says "DVC" at the top, and "I'd Rather Be Hosing" at the bottom. I watch people in the mirror at traffic lights, mouthing the words, and mutually shaking their heads, as they have no idea what it means, but anyone who shoots USPSA would know in an instant.

I would not have had any idea what that was supposed to represent without the commentary in the OP. I wouldn't put it on my car because I expect it would be meaningless to 99.99% of everyone who saw it.

Print a few up and send one to me. I put gun/ammo/outdoor/hunting related stickers on my reloading bench. It would go great there. (I wouldn't care if I am the only one who sees it!)

I would if I had any idea what it represented

I don't mean to poke fun, but like others have said, to me it says "sports team" more than it says "2nd Amendment."

I think it's a good start though

Proudly - that's like the signs I see saying "We proudly serve Starbucks Coffee".

Proud about what - that I agree with the BOR?

Yes, pride Glenn....as in your strong support for this wonderful 2A right, hobby, and ability to collect and shoot firearms!

Those of you who are NRA members, are you not PROUD to be members of the largest pro-gun lobby in the country?? I think being a PROUD 2A supporter fits into this idea hand in hand. Correct?

What I am going after is feedback on design alone. And I have enough to know what direction to head next. I could easily pick up a cheesy 2A sticker in the famous white oval and big black letters.....which is bad taste in my opinion.

I aim to create a more abstract, intelligent design that takes a minute to register.

I prefer this:

I believe that the average schmoe doesn't know what this means...but most shooters do.

Dayid must ride dirt bikes too, cause Alpinestars was the first thing that came to my mind also.

Maybe if it were red/whire/blue it might do more for me, but the way it is, it looks like 10,000 other nondescript logos. I certainly wouldn't go outta my way and pay monies for it. Even if one is going for something that only "those in the know" will recognize, it needs to stand out from all the rest. Kinda like "the Shocker". It too is something that most folks don't understand the real meaning to, but still remember seeing it before.........

Ha, ha - folks. I'm proud that we have such a great forum and I can be a staff member.

But all good things come to an end.

Proverbs 16:18
New International Version (©1984)
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
New Living Translation (©2007)
Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.

English Standard Version (©2001)
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

New American Standard Bible (©1995)
Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.

King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

And after the fall:

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
