According the the Fjestad Blue Book, the DH40 was discontinued in 1995, but imported to the U.S. that year. The DP51 was imported from 1991-2009. They don't say it's been discontinued, but access to parts may be an issue.

I've had several DP-51s and one DH-40. Nice guns, and I wouldn't hesitate to get another. You can use S&W 59 Series mags in both the 9mm and .40 model, if you have difficulty getting mags.

(You may have to tweak the 9mm mags for use in the DH-40, but I made a couple work, by lowering the front of the mag a bit with a dremel, so that the round could clear the follower; the feed lip gap is too narrow for the .40 round, and caused it to sit too low, and t I was afraid to try bending them.)
