Lou Allesi

Lou Allesi one of the good holster makers and "good gun people" lost his battle with cancer today. RIP Lou. For those wishing to send regards to the family send them to Tom Kulwicki at [email protected]. He will ensure the family receives them. orchidhunter

RIP,

I'd read he was gravely ill. The gun world is poorer for his passing.

Where did you hear the news of this orchidhunter? I ask because there were rumors of Lou's demise a week or two ago, and it was completely false. Before sending any condolences, it would be good to know for sure.

The news about Lou Alessi is a new "sticky" posted today on www.1911forum.com under the holster subforum. You're right about a recent posting about a month ago making the same claim. This time it seems genuine.

best wishes- oldandslow

I'm afraid it is right this time. Member flippycat just PM'ed me a link to Michael Bane's blog also announcing it:

RIP Lou. Now when I wear my Talon everyday, it'll take on a little deeper meaning. He was the best.

Mal H, I do wish my Thread was a rumor, and that it was completely false, but I assure you sir that unfortunately that is not the case. Those of you who wish to send there regards to the family by way of Mr. Kulwicki, please do. orchidhunter

RIP, Mr Allesi. I will still use and cherish the holsters you made for me.
You have been one of the best of the best in holster making and a real gentleman.

May your soul rest in piece.
