Has anyone here tried Mec-Gar's no-gunsmithing adjustable sights? I'm thinking of buying one for a Sig226. It's not a carry weapon so I'm not worried too much about the height. Just wanted to know if they stay together. Thanks

Sport45, I've used the Mec-Gars both in standard and melded applications. They seem to be pretty sturdy. I haven't had a customer bring one back broken yet but I've only been installing them for a couple of years. It may still be too early to tell. George

Cool! Thanks, man. That'll be the next stop after I get my HiPower--sights are like carburetors, they're meant to be constantly adjusted by well-meaning dorks like me, not necessarily to work well.
