Fine morning at the range,,,

So me and my friend, the college boy, had planned to go to the range this morning,,,
On the drive in to where we were going to meet he called me,,,
"Hey Aarond, is it alright if I bring someone with us?",,,
"You know Lauren, the tall server from Joseppi's."

"Heck yes!" I replied,,,
She's way prettier than he is,,,
Drop-dead gorgeous young ladies are always welcome.

So I stop at Wal Mart to pick up an extra set of shooting glasses and ear plugs,,,
Lo and behold the guy is opening a case of Federal Bulk Pack 22 LR,,,
What a fortunate coinkey-dinkey to stumble upon,,,
I got my three bulk pack limit real fast,,,
I turned to leave and saw a friend,,,
I had her buy me three more.

So now being well ammo'd up, we hit the range,,,
Mike is shooting the 22/45 I gave to him,,,
I started Lauren out on my SR-22,,,
She couldn't hit the ground.

After about 50 rounds downrange at 7-yards,,,
And not one hole in an 8" target,,,
I switched her to a revolver.

It's that used Rossi 511 I just had a new cylinder installed into,,,
In the first six rounds, five were in the target area,,,
And two of those were in the red,,,
One flyer was off the paper.

She then proceeded to rip out the center 4" area of the target,,,
She was shooting single action and doing very well.

After about 6-7 cylinders we went back to the SR-22,,,
There was no joy in the semi so back to the Rossi,,,
Dead-eye with a revolver but not with a semi,,,
Still just fine for a first time pistolera.

All in all, good fun was had by all,,,
Great morning shooting,,,
Great ammo find.

Ammo snag and a getting a new shooter involved? Sounds like a good day.
