peep sight recommendations for Winchester 9422

I'm debating whether or not I should install a peep sight for my Winchester 9422. Can any of you recommend a specific brand? I was looking at the Skinner and Lyman peep sights, but I don't know the advantages/disadvantages to each. Any other companies worth checking out?

The longer sight radius of a tang or receiver mounted peep will make a difference in consistency especially at longer ranges, if you do your part.

Just to be traditional with the lever guns, I'm partial to the tang mounted sights as they can be folded down out of the way when the other sight is preferred. You may also get more possible elevation available, sometimes with using an additional post . Plus the tang sights don't require any drilling of the receiver and often work mount by replacing screws in the tang.

Marble Arms is another manufacturer to consider.

I had a williams put on my 9422. I wanted it low mounted so I could use the same front sight. It works great and no complaints.
