Sig 938 First Shots

Hey everyone. Since I was interested in buying a Sig 938 I've been reading and watching a lot of videos about them, some good, some bad. Well today I decided to take the plunge and just try one for myself. I purchased a nib two tone model from my lgs, went straight to the range and put 100rds of federal 115g ball and 20rds of Speer Gold Dot 124g hp's through it. The trigger was not bad as I had read and broke very cleanly making the gun very easy to shoot tight groups with which it did very easily. (These guns are very accurate) Also it shot exactly to the point of aim at 12 yds. Recoil wasn't bad at all. I couldn't really tell much difference between it and my LCP .380. But best of all there were no malfunctions of any kind. The gun worked 100% straight from the box. This just might become my new edc in the near future.

Nice gun, I have been debating buying one myself. It is the price that is causing my to hesitate. I really need to go shoot one and to see if I can comfortably carry it in my pocket.

Good looking gun. Just picked mine up this afternoon. An extreme model. Can't wait to shoot it.

It's been my EDC for a while. There was a problem and it went to the factory for light strikes/hammer failing to hit primer, now the wait. I had it for about a year now, though I heard the problems are on older models (mine)
Has Taurus really spent more on shipping customers their firearms back to them than actual sales?

Great purchase..... You may want to clean them before shooting next time

have had my 938 for a bit over a month now. Been mostly flawless thru a few hundred rounds (didn't like some 124g flat tips). I like shooting with the 7-round mags...not so much the 6-rounders. Haven't found a comfort zone for my pinkie finger. But it's my new cc...fits nicely in a Recluse pocket holster.

I think it is between the P938, and the S&W Shield to full the sub compact 9MM niche. Thanks for the review. Sounds promising.

Sig 938 First Shots

Well guys I got my spare mag today so I put 50 more rounds through the gun to function test the new mag and the gun a little more. I fired 50 rds of Winchester white box with 0 malfunctions. It's definitely winning my heart.

I have had a 938 since they first appeared, it has digested several hundred rounds of 115 gr ball without a hic-up. Recoil is on a par with my 238 (380) and not at all unplesant but it does have the extended mag and G10 grips. A real winner.
