Ruger .45 Black Powder nipples?
I'm not sure what number caps I should use on a black powder .45 Ruger. Can you help?

You should still be good with #11 primers on these. ...

I use #10 percussion caps on mine.

I seem to remember there were some off brand, I think they were European manufacture caps, that were not the same size as the comparable Remington # caps.
My friend had to buy different number caps for his Ruger Old Army .44 depending on the manufacturer. This was back in the late '70's though so maybe this is not an issue any more. |
