To put simply, I feel these are just fun camping guns or plinkers.
Buy one if and only if the price is right and you just want a "fun gun".
For serious use, a more reliable gun, good customer service, and for more money, look at a more current name brand.

Part for part the H&R is a comparatively light duty machine compared to a S&W or Ruger.
