Does anyone know?

I understand that ATK owns St. Marks powder and Federal ammunition, and operates Lake City ammo plant. I also herd on the web somewhere that CCI bought Federal, is this so, or does ATK now own CCI? And what about RCBS, Speer, Outers, and Weaver scopes? I’m just thinking that soon one company will own or operate all firearms related businesses. What do you guys know/ think about this?
The private ownership of firearms is an American Heritage. Anyone who disputes that is Anti-American and unpatriotic.

ATK owns Federal, CCI/Speer and is contract manager of Lake City. I think St. Marks is still General Dynamics.

Sad to my way of thinking, but ATK seems to be one of the good guys.

I really liked it when Speer and CCI were the local company in Lewiston, Ideeeeho.

Yes, Weaver, RCBS, Federal and likely others by now are part of ATK.

Not unusual in any large business. IE there are only 3 washing machine mfgs in the US but probably close to 100 brands of US made machines.

ATK owns:
Alliant Powder
Fusion (handled as a separate brand than Federal)
Speer Ammo
Speer Bullets
Estate Cartridge
Champion (targets)
Eagle Industries (tactical gear)
Force on Force
Buck Commander
Duck Commander

Cerberus Capital owns or is heavily invested in:
-Freedom Group - which owns:
-Marlin (owned by Remington)
--H&R (owned by Marlin)
Remington Military
Remington LE
Remington PMPD (powdered metal products division)
Dakota Arms
Panther Arms
Parker Gunmakers
Advanced Armament
Para USA
Mountain Khakis

Lyman owns:
Butch's (cleaning products)
Uni-Dot (sights)
And, many other brands have been "absorbed" by Lyman over the years.

Nearly any major brand you can name is owned by some one else, or owns several other brands.
Don't even try it. It's even worse than the internet would lead you to believe.

ATK manages the marketing rights for Duck Commander and Buck Commander, but does not own the company itself.

At least that's what I gather from the limited reading I've done.
