anyone tried these 2" shells, #1 buckshot in a mossberg 500?

did they cycle well?

how many extra can you put in the mag?

I use these 1-3/4 shells exclusively for home defense in my winchester 1200.

We tried them in a friends 500 and it was a nightmare

The problem with using these short shells in most pumps is that the feed latches in the mag tube aren't spaced properly for them to feed right; the guns are designed for use with 2 3/4" or longer shells, so they end up allowing 1 1/2 of the short shells out onto the lifter, which ties everything up when you try to pump the forearm forward again. Mexico's Aguila also produces these, but with the same results.
