Maverick 88/ Mossberg 500

I have a Mav88 and I was wondering if all the Moss500 gear was compatible with my Mav. I see everything that I want but its all for Mossberg 500/590. Let me know what you think.

external hardware is compatible

All the hardware for the MOssberg 500 and 590 are compatible with the Maverick 88.

The internals are a hit or miss.

Stocks make for Mossberg 500 will fit on the Maverick 88 receiver.

Forends made for the Mossberg 500/590 will not fit on the Maverick 88 however.

One last thing is that The Maverick 88 trigger group is not compatible or swapable with the 500/590.

I am thinking of just trading the Mav for a mossy 500. I was looking at a few on the website and I think that it would be better to trade because I like the safety on the moss compared to the Mav.

I believe you can swap a 500 trigger group into a Maverick, you'll just lose the safety.
