First Look: Bumpski AK Stock by Fostech

I know there have been some discussions about the new Bumpski stock by Fostech recently. The videos that have been posted are somewhat vague in detail, they only show a bump fire stock working as it should. But if you're like me, you've wondered what the stock looked like up close and wanted more details about the features.

I'm here to help.

Here are some detailed shots of the new stock. I had a chance to shoot this stock on several rifles at SHOT Show 2012. There are only two in existence right now (with a bunch in production) and I was lucky enough to convince the guys as Fostech I was worthy to take one home with me from the show for review. Weather permitting we will be shooting a video of this new stock on Saturday.

Enough talking, here's some detailed shots to chew on.

The stock has some cool features. The two things that jump out at me the most are the all metal construction and the fact you can use your own pistol grip. Another neat feature is the fact you will be able to use the same stock with different rifles. The plan is to make adapter plates for other popular rifles including the AR15 which will allow you to slide your existing stock on the rifle. That way you only have to purchase the most expensive piece once, the stock itself.

I'll post the video review of the Bumpski shortly.
