can i get opinions on the remington versamax


i want to buy a rem. Versamax, w/synthetic stock, 12 ga, 3.5 " chamber
i would appreciate some knowledgeable opinions on this gun before i make the purchase.................

I just can't get over the looks. It looks like it was designed by the same people that designed the 710/770. Look what a disaster that was.

I handled on and was unimpressed. It lacked the nice lines of the 1100 / 11-87. If this is what we can expect from Remington from now on, Id say they are circling the bowl.

If considering the VersaMax, you should be aware of the recall notice.

Yes, the trigger guard already looks messed-up from the factory.
