Sig Sauer SP2022 as EDC
Anyone using the Sig Sauer SP2022 for concealed carry? Looking for feedback concerning holster choice or any other related experience.
The SP2022 is my only handgun and there's a real chance that my state (Illinois) will finally allow concealed carry. So I'd like to know how other SP2022 owners manage since it's not the most concealable firearm out there. |

I used to carry a P228, which is the same size, without worries. In fact, many of the guns I conceal are larger.
Concealing a gun is much easier than you'd think. At first, it'll feel like you're printing, and that everyone is watching. In truth, people are oblivious to their surroundings, and even if they're not, they're focused on more interesting things than my svelte waistline. The important thing is to carry a reliable weapon with which you're proficient. The 2022's are fine guns.

I have a Sig 2340 that I sometimes carry concealed. The best holster I've found for it so far is the Black Hawk Three slot pancake holster. Before that I had a Kydex holster from FIST. I liked it, but it broke after about a year. If you like Kydex, you might want to check out the G-Code line. Ditto what Tom said about the 2022, they are Great guns.
