Homemade Case Feeder for the LnL - Complete System
I know there are many videos and pictures of homemade case feeders out there but I have yet to see a complete system for a LnL so I thought I would share mine that I just finished.
Total material cost = $93 that includes the shell plates Check out the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSzft3_0ZMs |

Thanks, guys So far, I've been able to try 9mm, 40S&W, 10mm Auto, 45ACP, and 223Rem and they all seem to feed equally well. I personally don't have any purpose to make it feed rifle cases beyond 223/5.56, but it could be easily adapted to feed 308 or 30-06 if one was so inclined.
Not knocking Hornady but it makes you wonder why they are charging almost $400 for their system (feeder plates included).... I guess the answer to that is "because they can". Obviously people are willing to pay for it. Thanks again. |

Very true... it is just hard for me to swallow paying $400 for the feeder when it isn't half the machine of what it is attached to (LnL press itself) and the LnL is approximately the same price. I love Hornady's press, and products for that matter, but $400 seems high to me even with all the other expenses taken into account.
Point made, however |

Yeah... that was a great feeder and CHEAP! But for us Hornady LnL guys, just the collator doesn't do us much good.
