Pump action 22, and it's 22 Long Rifle, not Lyman.

Depending on condition it can be as high as 250 bucks, but usually quite a bit less.

Remington made a lot of them, they are very handy little rifles and if it is in good condition I would recommend keeping it and shooting it.

I think it is worth much more than $250 but I'm no expert. I've seen .22 short pump guns selling for $600 to $800 dollars. They may have been something special but I would hang onto it.

My brother bought a Remmy Model 12 about 4 months ago at a flea market. The rifle is in fabulous condition, crescent butt plate, octagon barrel. It appears to not have been shot much. He gave $100.00 for it. I will tell you this much, it does not like high velocity ammo. It has the accuracy of a 12 gauge at 25 yds with hyper velocity ammo. Standard velocity ammo and it's as accurate as the shooter with one hole groups at 25 yds if you can. If you can get a deal on it, it's a great plinker. But I certainly wouldn't give much more than what bro paid for his. They aren't a Winchester collector item.
