I have an old .22LR rifle that was given to my ol' lady by her dad, and he knows nothing about it ir where it came from..

Maybe one of you guys can help ID this thing...

it is marked on the top of the barrel, just in front of the rear site with

"Premier Single Shot"

and on the left side, just behind the rear sight it is marked with

"22 short Long
And Long Rifle"

the rifle is 39" in length (barrel & reciever is 26 1/2")
bolt action.

there are no other markings...

anyone know who made this thing? and maybe how old it is?
