bipod and front bag sweet spot.
Anyone found a sweet spot for the front sand bag... but found that the rifle doesn't like where the bipod is mounted?
This is a low recoil rifle (Savage VLP in .204 ruger). I'm homing in on the sweet spot for the front bag, but groups off the bipod are lack lustre. The question is therefore: 1) Has anyone found a way to identify an optimal mounting spot for their bipod that is NOT on the front sling stud? 2) If the answer to the first question is "yes", then how did you home in on that spot? 'Anyone been there, done that? |
