6.5-06 load data

I purchased a 65.- 06 from a member here and would appreciate any input as to loads and data. There is little data available outside of the Sierra manual. I am not foolish enough to load anything that may be on the hot or questionable ,I simply would love to hear from anyone who loads for this round for comparisons. I am sure there are others out there that would enjoy this thread also. Hopefully the responses to this will be numerous.

I have an older Nosler manual with 6.5-06 data. I think it is a 1990 or so vintage. I will scan and send you the pages (only about 2-3) this weekend.

I've used H-4831 from an old Hodgdon manual and couldn't get decent accuracy until primer pockets got loose. I'm going to try the Nosler 6 data with 125 Partitions over IMR-4831 and RL-19. These powders shoot wonderfully in my 260 Rem. I've also stuck with standard primers. One other thought - my barrel was originally throated for 100gr bullets, so I couldn't chamber 120s.

The Hornady Handbook of Metallic Cartridge Reloading 7th Edition has complete reloading data for the 6.5-06.

FWIW, I loaded for 6.5-06 for a few years, I got good results with IMR 4350.
Never try to educate someone who resists knowledge at all costs.
But what do I know?
