Randy Cain teaches at Lakeland, FL a good bit. He's probably the most under-rated/little known of the nationally ranked instructors out there.
See http://www.guntactics.com/schedule.htm Just one possibility, there are others. lpl

I am moving to Miami next month, for good, and will be hosting private and group Israeli Combat Training sessions.
Training is aggressive and logical, simple to learn and based on Israeli counter terror methods and hard core Combat Mindset training. You can use the training as an adaptation to what you already know or you can take it on as your primary combat training. I have been training Federal Law Enforcement, local police and civilians as well as security personnel in Israel. I will always let others decide if I am any good at what I do but think of it this way; It is my passion, not my job, to train others. Take a look and let me know if I may help you in any way. I have many references if you would like to hear from them. (from police to regular folks). www.IsraeliCombatTraining.com

Blackwater was top notch, facilities and instructors were both excellent. No standing around, you were learning/shooting the entire day. I went once last year and I'm going back in May.

Free ammo and guns!!! Can't beat that! Join the USMC See the world Meet interesting people and kill them! Join the National Guard See the world Meet interesting people and kill them (but only part time!) Actually the USMC isn't a bad route either if you are a young guy. But if you are closer to Social Securty age than military age, I suggest Tom Givens of Rangemaster. As for me... I'm head cook. Death from within!

"...Death from within!..." Plague from within.
"...trying to look for a good tactical training school..." You looking for shooting instruction or self-defence/CCW training? Ain't the same thing. How well do you shoot now?

Depending on the type of training, I highly recommend Randy Cain. An original disciple of Gunsite, Jeff Cooper, and Louis Awerbuck, along with being trained on a regular basis with Steve Tarani provides quite the resume to know what the hell he's doing. Many, many individuals that receive training at some big-shot Training Courses have their tail between their legs within the first hour of his course. It isn't because he's leads an intimidating course. It's the fact he can prove to anyone all the fancy schmancy latest and so-called greatest techniques aren't worth a crap if you don't get down to the core values of the Triad. Never have I seen a class with combinations of LE with 15+ years experience and a female that barely knows how to hold a gun learn so much, so fast, and NO ONE is bored. Better yet, no one is pushed beyond their limitations and he knows how to teach effectively.

do not limit yourself to any one trainer. train..take those tools and put them in your toolbox then go find another trainer. repeat process until you die.
Xe ( blackwater ) is solid and i have trained with Tactical Response in Tn as well. very very different teaching styles.
