Lots of people will be shopping. I might be too. Maybe I'll go to bestbuy or target, or sears.

or maybe marshalls, or maybe bass pro.

more thoughts...

maybe I'll go to the gun shop and look around. after I stop and get a little breakfast.

Wont be in front of the doors at any place when they open thats a for sure.

I think I may take the son out and go hunting. He shot a .410 last week his first ever. Next he wants the .22 ruger handgun to try out.

Stay home orbetter yet go to the RANGE.

Do NOT spend a bunch of $$ youdont have. You will pay two/three times by the time you pay the interest.

i plan on going in the afternoon, about 9 hours after the 4 am "rush"
will be 100% carrying. don't really want to go myself, just going with.
1. The gun is always loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger unless you are ready to shoot.
4. Be be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

We are civilized where we live... Well don't stand still in a main lane in front of my wifey-pooh, she will ASSIST you out of her way! But thus far she hasn't had to toss knuckles yet. No need for firearms for us.

This will be the fifth time in a row that I've gone outdoors in the wee hours of the morning on Black Friday (not necessarily by choice) because I happen to work somewhere that's keen on "doorbusters." However, I've never really seen anything that makes me think I'm any more likely to need a handgun that day than any other day.

I will be at the range. Just got the lil' lady a new .38, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet and we both work tomorrow after lunch with her folks... so Friday will be the first good chance.

Other than that, I like to get to Wal-Mart early and trample old ladies for DVD players... the opportunity only comes around once around once a year!

Oh, the horror

Black Friday sends a shudder of horripilation up my spine, but then again Home Depot has a Ridgid vacuum for $20. Tempting, but as it is limited to stock on hand unless I'm willing to go into a shopping frenzy no way!
Besides, I have a CZ-82 just came in I'm itching to get to the range to play with.

Well I live a life of retail. I run a family owned furniture store. We do a door busters sale the day after Thanksgiving. Fortunately/Unfortunately we don't have the traffic that alot of other types of retail will have.

We have never had an issue with purse snatching, muggings or anything like that. But one still needs to take certain precautions to protect themselves during this time of year. I will make sure that my wife protects herself if she ventures out into the madness tomorrow.

If we need to go out , it's always around 1-2pm, after everyone is exhausted and back home napping.

I have an added benefit this year: the Alabama/Auburn game is on at 1:30, so most everyone in the state will be rushing home to watch it.

I have no real concerns. We will both be carrying if we go out, and we both saw the Surviving Disaster: Mall Shooting episode.

Sleep in late, shop online, save on tax and get things delivered to me.

when i wake up, watch the news and laugh at people punching eachother out to save $20 on a flatscreen TV they don't need and can't afford in the first place.

I USED to be really into the black friday thing several years ago when my parents would send me in with a walkie talkie, a list of specific items and i'd sneak my way to the front of the line get what i wanted and get out before most people got in. The way i see things, lines at a store before it opens are for peopl stupid enough to stand in them. My logic is that there is NOBODY that got up at 4am just to make sure I would go to the back of the line. if you have items you want to purchase and are at the register, that's another story.

My only concern for the black day will be that I can bag a brown deer

My Black Friday spree

I went to Best Buy around 11am or so, bought a DVD, then came home and went shopping online.

I went out, saved $70 on my new baby...Ruger LCP.
Some things are worth getting outta bed for.
I guess I'm not that paranoid that I feel I need to stay home and poke my finger out the blinds to see what the neighbors are doing.
Although...I was carrying my Kimber.

Okee dokee then. This never did get serious, and Black Friday's over anyhow. How 'bout we move on to something a little more productive?
