Side Saddle top rail scope / reddot mount mossberg 500 pre 97 model

After spending about a half hour sifting through some old threads and even turning up very little with google and not really getting a concrete answer ( as item descriptions did not specify), I thought this would be worthy information to add here with some key words. This is for those looking to add a top rail for a scope or red dot to a pre 1997 mossberg 500 with no screws on top like the 97 models.

It does not say pre 1997 in the description so I thought I would add it does fit perfectly and takes 3 minutes to install on a pre 1997 mossberg 500.
