Fnh Fs2000
I'm new to the Firing Line, I'm trying to network with some folks that have the same rifle as me. I just bought my own FNH FS2000. I have little experience with this weapon and this new type of mechanism. Would anyone who owns one tell me some of the definite things TO do and things NOT TO do with this rifle?
Especially some things like: -How many round til it breaks in? -What sight is generally regarded as the "best fit?" -How do you get that pesky bolt assembly fit in quickly after cleaning? Thanks folks. 3SA

Ha
That's something a Coastie WOULD say, haha.
I'm pretty eager to learn about what's out there; I work with M4s and the whole gambit of other weapons- It's time to broaden my knowledge. Any more tips would be welcomed. 3SA

I loved mine, but sold it for a lift for my XJ. Mine didn't really need a "break in" period as it was 100% from the start, I had an EOTech 511 on it, worked great. As for the reassembly, it's just takes practice. Check out www.fnforum.net for lots of great fn info.

Thanks
That forum looks like a trove of info. Thanks for that.
I look forward to getting to the range and cracking some rounds off. I'm looking at EOTECH pretty hard, I acquired one with all sorts of bells and whistles downrange and didn't like how it fit my issued M4, so I sold it- Lack of foresight on my part. I appreciate the advice folks. 3SA
