I am considering investing in a vibratory case cleaner and wanted some advice on which brand to get.

Does anyone have experience with either the Dillon CV-500 or RCBS models? They're both about the same price any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Aw shucks! When I read the title to this thread, I thought it was pornography!

Seriously, I haven't used the models you ask about. I am still using a Midway vibrator that is a flat vibrating platform with a RubberMaid bread box stapped down with two rubber hold downs. Works great. About $20. I haven't seen it in their catalog in a while.

However, if no one volunteers an opinion on these two, I would give Dillon a spin. They are very customer oriented.

I've been using my RCBS tumbler (forget the model#) going on 11yrs. I highly recommend it. Its a little more "heavier duty" than the Midway models (I do have 1 and it works fine). Only problem in all these yrs is the motor burned out 4-5 yrs ago, which RCBS replaced free- lifetime warranty!

No experience with the Dillons or who makes their tumblers. I do know its not Lyman... 3 guesses what the FL stands for in front of Dillons models.

I have three Lymans and the large Dillon. All of them have given me great service. Never owned the RCBS but I don't see why it wouldn't be just as good.

Well, I have the Dillon. They only give a one year warranty on the electrical components, so if the RCBS has a lifetime warranty on their motor, I'd go that route. I doubt that the Dillon would give you any serious problems though. Mine hasn't.
I had a cheapie that i bought at a gun show for $20.00, looked like a Midway or one of those types. It worked well for about 5 years when the bowl just up and headed south. Snapped right off. Oh well. At a cost of $4.00 a year, I guess I got my money's worth.

Greetings To All, I am currently using a new
RCBS vibratory cleaner on all my handgun brass. Seems to do a nice job; in a short
period of time. Hardly any noise level to
contend with!!!

Best Wishes,

Thanks guys! Your comments were very helpful. I've decided to try the Midway. I was told it carries a life-time warranty and at that price, I can get two of them for the price of one RCBS or Dillon.

Thanks again!
