45ACP hollowpoints in old Colts

Anyone found a good hollowpoint that will feed reliable in the older Colts?
I have a series 70 Gold Cup that I've owned fo thirty years. Damn accurate, but doesn't like anything but hardball. By the way I've had a lot of pistol smith work done on it, but still get an occasional jam.

Type of jam is important. One point that gets overlooked a lot is the firing pin hole. Breech face is every bit as important to feeding as the ramp and barrel. Sharp edge on the firing pin hole or the underside of the ejector hook will cause jams even with a perfect barrel. Ball ammo has a slightly different feeding geometry that might overcome a slight problem.

Then use Federal's EFMJ. This feeds like a FMJ but expands well.

E-mail your ground address (and a refernce to this post/thread); I will mail you some Remington 185g JHPs and 230g Golden sabers.
They feed in most everything (but not my 45 Witness; rats).
