I am trying to decide if I can manage a set-up for reloading Nagant cartridge on a Dillon rig (model #?)

Basically need to know what to get (dies, etc.), where to find/make brass, primers, bullets, what charges to use (will re-verify those with reloading manuals), any other basic hints. Also curious as to how much the setup and components cost. Hope to load them for no more than 25 cents per shell (assuming I make a thousand for starters), less if possible.

Dillion sells the shell plate.

Lee has the dies

Starline Brass is supposed to start production of 54r brass sometime this year.

Failing that you can buy 7.62X54r 180 gr soft points from Sellier and Bellot for $8.00 a box. While not cheap and it is loaded ammo, it is boxer primed and it is cheaper than empty Norma or Laupa brass.

as for bullets .308 will work, but depending on the gun either .308 or .310-.312
My Romack III sluged out the same size as my M-1 Garand.

The Silver tiped stuff is close to .308 in size, the SB soft nosed stuff is around .312 and the 54r Ball from the 440 rnd cans is .310 so who knows.

I havent found the definitive answer yet
