The Ooops! factor and grace period.
I just now found the window of opportunity to edit a post without the "Last edited by... " footnote is less than a minute or not open at all. As I recall the pre-vBulletin 3 Firing Line had a 20-30 minute window. My effort is to "Think twice, proof read thrice, post once or not at all," but often proof reading thrice is not enough. Any chance of returning to the longer grace period?
