Steven's Lever Action 22 LR

A friend of mine has a rifle a family friend gave him a few years back and wanted some info on it.

Description is as follows:

Stevens 22LR, lever action, octagon barrel. It says "Martin's Army" longways on top of the breech. It looks to be a fairly old gun. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

So many Stevens firearm types and models. Must be a zillion of em. I have several. A 'visible loader' pump and a 'Favorite'. Never heard of the 'Martin's Army' though. Values are all over the place and of course depend upon rarity and condition. I'd take some good pictures of it and then go to a decent gun show and ask around. Someone will know.
